Top Columbus Charities to Donate to

Each month when our newsletter drops we pick a charity and ask our readers to join us in giving to that charity. For the end of 2022 we simply couldn’t pick one since there are so many great organizations that need help now so we invite you to join us in giving to your favorite charity or multiple!

LSS FAITH MISSION

Starting with Giving Tuesday on November 29, 2022, it is a day that urges everyone to give back what they can to organizations that make a difference. This year we partnered most often with LSS Faith Mission. A local organization providing healthcare and services to the homeless and those in need in Columbus Ohio right by Columbus State downtown.  LSS Choices also helps those who have been victims of domestic abuse. We have been to the facility and they really do help a lot of people providing healthcare for those in need that often saves people’s lives. Donate to LSS Faith Mission here.

Another organization we have been part of is MidOhio Food Collective, providing meals and assistance to families in Ohio for decades, MidOhio Food Collective is a staple for helping the community. We urge you to donate to them at https://mofc.org/

COLUMBUS HUMANE SOCIETY

The Columbus Humane Society is a great organization that helps animals in Columbus find homes as well as care for them. You can donate your time to the organization or you can make a cash donation to help them with there efforts. The Columbus Humane Society cares for cats and dogs as well as rodents and ferrets as well! Donate to them or give you time by going to https://www.columbushumane.org/

CAT WELFARE

An organization near and dear to my heart is Cat Welfare in Columbus Ohio. Our family adopted two cats from Cat Welfare and they even were able to offer life-saving treatment to our cat, Frankie who we initially fostered and then adopted. He lived a long happy life and recently passed away after 12 years, thanks to Cat Welfare at only 6 months he had a 50/50 chance of survival. They are an amazing organization and we encourage you to donate to them or get your next kitty there. Visit https://catwelfareassoc.org/
